Senior Digital Analyst

Are you passionate about digging into data to reveal the patterns and insights hidden inside? As the Senior Digital Analyst, you will be responsible for data capture, analytics, reporting, and insight generation on client digital campaigns. You will work with different types of campaigns to provide all requested reports, evaluate campaigns effectiveness, and look for key takeaways that will help us optimize the business for our clients. You will collaborate with the Strategy and Account teams to develop and present data-driven insights that support the strategic initiatives of our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the analytics function by pulling, analyzing, and reporting on website, digital, mobile, and social advertising metrics using Google Analytics, Excel, and Tableau
  • Collaborate in the creation of client deliverables: work with Strategy team to validate and rationalize recommendations with data and statistics; create PowerPoint reports; assist Account and Strategy teams in presenting to client
  • Proactively monitor all channels and data to spot trends and fluctuations and propose next steps to Strategy and Account teams; recommend, determine, and execute tagging of emails, websites, banners, and social posts
  • Gather and evaluate secondary research, such as Kantar and Manhattan Research
  • Support social monitoring and social listening efforts
  • Stay current with the latest web, mobile, and social analytic tools and trends

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Expert knowledge of and hands-on experience with Google Analytics, including the ability to create segments and filters
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (creating filters, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experienced using Tableau to aggregate and analyze data collected from various sources
  • Experienced in website tagging strategy and implementation with Google Tag Manager
  • Competence in PowerPoint presentation development
  • Familiar with all digital marketing and media channels including Search, Display, Mobile, Video and Social 
  • Understanding of mobile platforms and trends, including usage and behavior analysis
  • Knowledgeable about social listening (Netbase) a plus
  • Knowledge/understanding of other web/data analytics (Adobe Analytics, SQL, etc.) a plus
  • Analytical mindset with the proven ability to manipulate data, recognize trends and discrepancies, and identify marketing insights based on data analysis
  • Aptitude and desire to learn and master new systems and tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with at least 3 years in an agency environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, mathematics, statistics or business
  • Experience working within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry preferred

Finalist candidates will be asked to complete a Google Analytics and Excel test as part of the screening process.
