Senior Account Executive

We are searching for a self-directed account manager to guide the daily activities of one or more of the agency's brands. This individual will be responsible for the development and execution of multi-channel marketing plans from concept to completion, while providing effective direction to ensure that the agency is properly managing client expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stay familiar with the scientific background, competition, market challenges, marketing plan, tactical elements, brand strategy, product positioning, product history, media, convention opportunities, and research initiatives 
  • Partner with project management to coordinate all digital and print deliverables on behalf of assigned brand(s)
  • Meet with client on a regular basis to ensure promotional needs and tactical programs are being implemented
  • Support team in presenting plans, ideas, and concepts to client in a logical and persuasive manner
  • Be an antenna for new project/business opportunities with existing or prospective clients
  • Review all jobs for consistency with brand strategy and client direction
  • Inform client of any changes in agreed-upon direction, timelines, cost, etc.
  • Participate in and report outcomes of field research
  • Provide clear and complete direction on all projects, and direct all meetings
  • Assume responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness and cost effective management of all brand programs, both digital and print
  • Work with supervisor to establish strategies for development of media plans and evaluation of their effectiveness; assist in assessment of on-going programs with client
  • Work with agency/client teams to develop annual brand promotional plans
  • Work closely with project management and supervisor to monitor job costs vs estimates

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree, with coursework emphasis in communications, advertising, or science
  • 3-5+ years agency account management experience, with at least 2 years pharmaceutical experience
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-channel marketing, including social media
  • MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) proficiency is required (a test may be administered)
