Digital Marketing Analyst

As the Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for data capture and reporting on client digital campaigns. You will work closely with the Director of Analytics in developing data-driven insights to support the strategic initiatives of our clients. You’ll be exposed to different types of campaigns, assist in evaluating whether a campaign is working, and look for key insights and takeaways that will help us optimize the business for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pull, analyze, and report on website, digital, mobile, and social advertising metrics
  • Assist in the gathering and evaluation of secondary research
  • Assist in social monitoring efforts
  • Assist in the creation of client deliverables
  • Work with Account Management and Strategic teams to develop insights from data
  • Stay current with the latest web, mobile, and social analytic tools

Required Skills

  • Expert knowledge of and hands-on experience with Google Analytics, including the ability to create segments and filters
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (creating filters, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to notice trends and discrepancies in data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with all digital marketing and media channels including Search, Display, Mobile, Video and Social
  • Understanding of mobile platforms and trends – including usage and behavior analysis
  • Knowledge/understanding of other web analytics tools (eg Adobe Analytics) is a plus
  • Ability in PowerPoint and presentation development is a plus
  • Natural curiosity with the desire to learn, and ability to master, new systems and tools

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, mathematics, statistics or business
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within an advertising or media agency
  • Experience identifying marketing insights based on aggregated/collected market research 
  • Experience working within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry a plus

Finalist candidates will be asked to complete a Google Analytics and Excel test as part of the screening process.
