Digital Insights Analyst

 

The Digital Insights Analyst will be responsible for data capture and reporting on client digital campaigns. This person will work closely with the Director of Analytics in developing data-driven insights to support the strategic initiatives of our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pull, analyze, and report on website, digital, mobile, and social advertising metrics
  • Assist in social monitoring efforts
  • Assist in the gathering and evaluation of secondary research
  • Assist in the creation of client deliverables
  • Manage communications and data flow with external partners
  • Work with Account Management and Strategic teams to develop insights from data
  • Stay current with the latest web, mobile, and social analytic tools
     

Required Analytics, Media, and Research Skills

  • Familiar with all digital marketing and media channels including Search, Display, Mobile, Video and Social
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Analytics, including the ability to create segments and filters
  • Knowledge/understanding of other web analytics tools (eg Adobe Analytics) is a plus
  • Understanding of mobile platforms and trends – including usage and behavior analysis
  • Extremely strong analytical skills (and a curious nature to match)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources and across channels

Required General Skills

  • Excellent communication skills including written, spoken and presentation development & delivery
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (eg, creating filters, pivot tables, etc)
  • Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines
  • Possesses strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams
  • Desire to learn, and ability to master, new systems and tools 
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, mathematics, statistics or business
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, preferably within an advertising or media agency
  • Experience identifying marketing insights based on aggregated/collected market research 
  • Experience working within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry a plus

Finalist candidates will be asked to complete an Excel test as part of the recruiting process.
