Account Supervisor

We're looking for an Account Supervisor to join one of the industry's strongest agency teams, working with a new client on a launch. The Account Supervisor will ensure that our client needs are met strategically and tactically and will monitor and guide the account team’s daily activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owns and is responsible for managing the daily account work on assigned brand(s), responsible for ensuring that projects are on time, on strategy, and on budget
  • Regularly serve as client’s main contact with the agency on a day-to-day basis
  • Responsible for clear, effective client communications and ensuring collaborative partnerships with our clients
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with all day-to-day functional team leads
  • Manages budget tracking and client billing
  • Reviews brand and campaign-related work to ensure alignment with key insights and marketing objectives
  • Facilitates and leads tactical meetings and discussions
  • May lead development of brand tactical planning and budget
  • Oversee the activities of direct reports (as applicable)
  • Coach and provide feedback daily and as needed to account executives; guide direct reports in career and skills development
  • Supports new business efforts by contributing to the process and deliverables

  • Clear, effective communication skills (verbal and written) internally and externally
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience presenting information, both verbally and written, to clients and senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to provide actionable solutions in tactical planning
  • Demonstrated excellence in attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proven financial management experience (with client and agency budgets)
  • Ability to travel on as-needed basis

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 5+ years of agency account management experience, with at least 3 years of pharmaceutical advertising experience
  • pharma advertising agency account management experience
  • Experience working on rare disease and/or oncology brands preferred; launch experience a plus
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience with team-building skills and mentoring abilities
  • Experience developing, producing and leading multi-channel marketing solutions required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and delivering presentations in PowerPoint
