Junior Studio Designer

We are looking for a junior level Studio Designer to join our Creative Services team, reporting to the Director of Creative Operations. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a highly creative, award winning pharma advertising creative team and learn the agency world from the ground up. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in type corrections and file preparation on a daily basis
  • Work with Art Directors to generate mechanicals and revised mechanicals
  • Make digital and paper comps
  • Build print-ready final mechanical files for a wide variety of tactics
  • Maintain an organized, systematic job filing system across accounts
  • Check artwork and layout for completeness and adherence to agency standards
  • Keep supervisor advised of status and changes to projects
  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines consistently

 

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign at a minimum)
  • Understanding of traditional graphic design
  • Demonstrated skill in typography
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills and ability to work in a highly-functioning, team-oriented environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to multi-task and move from one project to another quickly and effectively

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS, with coursework emphasis in visual arts, communication design, or related field
  • 1-2 Internships providing practical, hands-on experience in Adobe required
